Youth Show Updates – 6/20

Hello! Thanks to those who came out to support the Cabaret performances this weekend – it was so excited to get back to live performances and now our attention turns to the Youth shows. There are a number of important new announcements as we go into these last few weeks:

1) Sponsorships and ads can still be submitted – we must receive by July 9th to meet program printing deadlines. Please help share and spread the word about our Sponsorship Program – in a year where seating is reduced and we do not make as much from audience ticket sales as a normal year, the Sponsorship Program becomes even more important. If you need additional copies of the handout that was sent home, please let directors know – or find more information here:

2) Ticket Presale has now begun! At practice this week, each performer will be provided with an envelope for ticket pre-sales. Each cast member is limited to a specific number of seats per performance that can be purchased in this first round. Please fill out the order blank with your desired number of tickets, enclose the payment, and return to directors. I will collect from them a couple of times to process these and then return to directors with the tickets inside. Do not worry if you do not receive tickets back immediately depending on when I can cross paths with directors – but submitting them your payment you are securing your reserved seats. This first round of sales closes on July 4.

Beginning July 5th, any remaining seats for each performance will be available to cast members on a first come first serve basis. General public sales will begin July 12th for purchase on our website. A reminder that each performance is capped at a maximum of 75 audience members. We do not make any guarantees that a specific performance day/time will have seats available for the July 5th round or for the July 12th public sale.

3) Also going home is an order blank if you would like to purchase a program shout-out square to recognize your performer. These are due to directors on July 9th.

4) Finally, two requests for help at performances – the first is our need to create set-up and tear-down crews for the performance week. This list must be completed by July 5th or we will have to begin making cuts on what tech elements we are able to provide for the performances.

The second is that we are in need of someone to work the ticket table in a few time slots (and also one for the July Cabaret as well) – please see that sign-up here if you might be available! With pre-sale being the bulk of ticketing, I suspect this will be very easy!
