Youth Show Wrap-Up – 7/19

THANK YOU to everyone involved in your 2021 Youth Season! We know this year was weird and had some additional challenges and hurdles combined with looking and being structured quite a bit different than in the past. The weekend was capped off which such great performances – it was refreshing to see live events and live audiences back again. We hope that you and your participants had a wonderful time — we welcome your feedback to help improve our youth program if you have suggestions, concerns, or questions.

Huge thanks to those parents who made up the set-up and teardown crews – we couldn’t have done it without you.

A few wrap-up items as things wind down:

Our season has one more performance before we wrap up the summer! Join us this weekend (July 22-24) at 8pm at the park for an evening of musical theater song celebrating “hope” — this is a fantastic night of music to close out our summer season. Tickets are available on our square site or can be purchased at the door.

If you would like to order photos that were taken at the Friday dress rehearsal, the order blank to do so is here — complete by August 2nd:

As a reminder, we recorded the entire weekend – I will edit these together as schedule allows and send out a Google form when they are ready, which may be as late as December due to my schedule.

Our hope at Arc Light is to return to normal as we progress forward. In terms of our next events, we will be working with Hollis Park District for a youth acting workshop sometime in September or October. We hope to have this date soon.

Look on our Facebook page, website, and e-mail blasts in late September for sign-ups for our Madrigal children’s choirs – we create two children’s choirs who sing at our annual Christmas event at Coyote Creek. Performances this year are December 17-19.

We’ll return to Hollis Park District for a youth workshop in the Spring before jumping back into next summer’s season – we hope to put auditions back in early April and performances mid-to-late June (with fingers crossed for a return to inside!).
