Youth Show Wrap-Up

Hi Parents!

Thanks for an AMAZING weekend of theater – I think we had some of the strongest Youth Shows we’ve ever seen. The experience was sometimes a little bumpy as we all remembered how to be inside again – we haven’t done indoor staged productions since 2019! A few things as we wrap up the experience:

Tickets are on sale for “Cabaret” – join us as we turn Coyote Creek into the Kit Kat Klub and enjoy dinner & dessert along with the show on July 15 & 16. Maybe leave the kids at home… “Cabaret” is strongly rated PG-13. More info and the digital link to purchase tickets can be found on our website – you can also purchase tickets over the phone 309-455-4095. The deadline to purchase is July 10!

We are taking an “interested/waiting” list for a possible Sunday afternoon performance. Please call to get added to that list – if we have enough interest and ticket sales then we may add the additional date.

The form to order the photos Natalie took on Thursday evening is here:

A reminder that the official Arc Light DVDs will come in a few months – things get crazy for me in back-to-school mode.

We are hoping to have one or two workshop opportunities this Fall – more on that in August! Our next big production is the annual Madrigal Dinner at Coyote Creek (December 16-18) – sign-ups for the children’s choirs will come out in early October! We try to announce next summer’s youth plays & dates at Madrigal.

Watch for a remind message in a couple weeks asking for volunteer help for Hollis Park District’s Wizard of Oz Festival on August 13. Arc Light coordinates volunteers on this day to help run the festival as our way of giving thanks to HPD for providing us storage space for all of our materials, props, and costumes.

We would appreciate a few minutes of your time filling out our wrap-up surveys. Many of the great aspects of our youth programs have been developed thanks to the feedback provided. What suggestions can you offer to help make our incredible youth series even stronger? There are two forms below, one for parents and one for actors.
